Updated 23 October 2026. This page describes the use of website data and cookies on omgbeauty.nl.
1. Contact and appointments
When you send us a message, we use the contact details and message you provide to answer your enquiry or handle your appointment. Contact form messages are stored in our WordPress environment and emailed to our salon. Please do not submit medical or other sensitive information through the form or website assistant.
2. Restricted Google Analytics statistics
We use Google Analytics 4 in a restricted configuration to measure page visits, referral sources and clicks on booking, telephone, WhatsApp and directions links. The sole purpose is to improve the quality and effectiveness of our website. Measurement starts automatically; there is no acceptance popup. We rely on the Dutch exemption for analytics with little privacy impact and our legitimate interest in evaluating website usability (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We have disabled Google Signals, advertising personalization, user-provided customer-data collection, granular location/device collection, and additional Google data sharing. This property has no Google Ads account link. We do not send User-IDs, form contents, names, email addresses or telephone numbers to Analytics, and we do not use its data to personalize content or advertisements or track people across websites.
Google receives a pseudonymous browser identifier, page paths, basic browser information, approximate country-level location and the limited events listed above. We remove query strings and fragments from page and referrer URLs explicitly sent to Analytics. Only campaign source, medium and name fields with restricted characters are retained for source statistics. Google uses IP addresses at collection to derive location; GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. Google may process data outside the EEA under its processing terms and applicable transfer safeguards.
First-party analytics cookies, including _ga and the stream cookie, are configured for a maximum of 30 days without extending their expiry on every visit. Your browser may impose a shorter lifetime. Event-level retention is two months; user-data retention is fourteen months in the existing property. Standard aggregated reports can be retained longer.
You can object at any time through ‘Privacy & analytics’ in the footer and choose ‘Disable Google Analytics’. This blocks subsequent Google Analytics requests and removes accessible analytics cookies for this site. We remember the objection locally for up to six months and respect earlier saved refusals and supported browser privacy signals. ‘Use default statistics’ clears the saved site preference and restores the restricted default configuration. An objection does not reverse earlier processing.
Our assessment balances useful aggregate navigation statistics against visitors’ privacy. We limit fields, cookie duration and advertising uses, provide this notice and an accessible opt-out, and review the configuration before adding new purposes or advertising features. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
3. Technical operation and hosting
Our website is hosted by WordPress.com. To deliver and secure the website, the hosting provider may process technical information such as IP addresses and server logs. Any necessary security or login cookies are separate from Koko Analytics. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
4. External services
Bookings are handled through Treatwell. When you open a booking link or a link to WhatsApp, Google Maps or social media, that service’s privacy rules also apply. Our website assistant is externally hosted; please use it only for general questions about our treatments.
5. Questions and your rights
For questions about your personal data or requests for access, correction or deletion, contact OMG Beauty Bar at Parkweg 74, 2271 AM Voorburg, info@omgbeauty.nl or +31 6 14 44 31 88. You can also object to processing or request restriction. Applicable rights depend on the processing and legal obligations. You may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
We update this information when our website or use of data changes. Simply visiting the website does not constitute consent to additional tracking.
